October 9, 2005Hi there!
Unfortunately the PT-Community in Germany is not big enough for getting the information I´m searching for!
I´m about to install lowering springs into my wife´s PT (it is a Diesel, not aviable in the US, I suppose > Great Engine from Mercedes c220 CDI, tuned to 360 NM :-) ...).
Ususally I would install coil overs, but because of the usage as normal family-car too low would be cumbrous ( correct word? ).
The company H&R is a very good german company and well known for high quality springs, suspensions and coil overs. of course.
At the moment I´d prefer the Cup-Kit which loweres the PT about 55/40 mm (2"), also aviable in a comfort and a sport-edition, I suppose only the damping rates are different because the technical description of the springs do not differ.
Now my questions to you:
Does anybody have the Cup-Kit installed yet?
Can you tell me your impressions?
Do you have a picture of your Cup-Kit-PT??
>> I do NOT mean the "normal" H&R lowering springs which lower the PT about 35mm (1,5") !!
Thanks for your replys, Ingo from Germany, near Cologne
By the way: Sorry for the mistakes
