Should I take off Gibson exhaust that came on my truck and change for dual exhaust. If yes should I have duals with a muffler or straight pipes, exhaust cutout, no muffler?

I had a question about dual exhaust. I dont have my spare tire and I was looking at the best and cheapest option for duals and exhaust cutouts. I want to keep it with no muffler but the drone in the cab is kinda annoying. Is there anyway to just reduce drone and also how would it sound just split off with no muffler. I also wanted it to sound the best possible so if a muffler is the way to go I will. Also what size pipe what make the best sound. I would like to keep original size but if have to upgrade to 3" thats ok also.

My mom`s 2002 PT Cruiser`s spectra premium parts oil pan has a crack in it. I have almost every bolt out except for 2 bolts nearest the drivers side. They appear to be covered up by the manual transmission. Am I missing a simple step on how to remove the oil pan.

Looking for a Hitch for a PT Cruiser to haul our Bikes. There are a number of hitches on ebay. Any advice would be appreciated. Some are u-Haul brand etc. IS a Mopar brand better ? Do not need a wiring harness since we will be using it for Bicycles.

Hi... not my car, but a co-worker has a 2002 PT Cruiser and I told him I would try to figure out what was going on. He said its losing coolant somewhere, but there are no leaks, it does not overheat and there is no coolant in oil or oil in coolant, etc. He said it will simply lose coolant. I told him I thought it could be a weak headgasket and it was simply burning it out the exhaust, but not sure.

Anyone have any suggestions? Were headgaskets issues on these cars? If so, I wonder if this is a costly repair on these?

My fan arrived today, waiting on the new spectra radiator. together they cost 167 bucks including 25 bucks shipping and handling.

Hoping for a Monday delivery on it. then the other problem, how to rise the car up three inches all around. it is set with way too little ground clearance, about 3 1/2 to 4 inches. My first one had about the same and every time I had to park diagonally I slid up over the sidewalk, making a lot of noise and worry about loosing the ground effects front dam as i backed out. Major bumps and ice chunks always worried me.

Anyone know a better way of getting it up. I have thought bigger tires, but worry about handeling and tire rubbing.

any Ideas?

I have a new Heartland North Trail and just noticed something on the trailer tires. They are ST 205/75/D14. The profile and the tread look like radials. I have never seen a D before. All the tires on the Shasta I have had for 10 years were R for radial.

.I have a 2001 4cyc PT Cruiser.....everything works great...The only problem that I am having is...there is a loud noise coming from the rear end.....to be honest...when I ride on uneven pavement or hit a small bump...it literally sounds like the rear end is gonna fall out from under the car.....I suppose it is some kind of bushing...... ive checked my pro comp tires... any ideas.....would be greatly appreciated

Any one know of an aftermarket hood scoops for our cars?? How do you think it would look or even a larger one?
